Emmett Cherry Festival starts Wednesday

EMMETT, Idaho (CBS2) — The Emmett Cherry Festival starts this week on Wednesday and runs through Saturday. The events, concerts and carnival all happen in Emmett City Park.
The Emmet Cherry Festival website says since the 1930s, the community of Emmett and all of Gem County has gathered each June to celebrate the valley's abundance.
Some of the many free activities include:
- No cost to enter, no admission or gate fees
- Free daily entertainment and nightly concerts
- Parade and children's parade
- Free entry into all contests
